5 Reasons to Exhibit at the BFA
1. Deadlines extended!
Due to inclement weather and the response from our artists, we are extending
our application deadline to April 30th. Acceptance notifications will be
sent to artists by May 15.
2. We take plastic!
Brandywine Festival of the Arts now accepts credit cards for all application
and booth fees. Application fees will be charged to your credit card upon
receipt; booth fees will be charged upon acceptance to the festival.
3. We have press!
This year, we plan on spending more money on marketing than ever before in
the history of the Festival. The News Journal has already agreed to be a
sponsor of the show, and we are always thinking of new ways to publicize the
event. For a list of recent media coverage, check out our press
page.
4. We are artist-friendly!
We consider the artists to be our main event, so we have recently
implemented changes based on your feedback and input. To support the
artist-centered philosophy held by producer Barry Schlecker, the BFA's
advisory council is made up of elite artists and seasoned festival
attendees, including John Schoonover, Olga Ganoudis, Mitch Lyons,
Larry Anderson, and Joy Davis. Artists can
expected to have their concerns heard, their requests considered, and their
needs met to the best of our ability.
5. We're turning 50!
Join us for this banner year as the Festival turns half a century! Be part
of the tradition and
